Strive further by joining the HonEURs Association as an active member! The HonEURs Association is looking to expand its ranks by adding creative, open-minded and talented new Internal
Managers and Ambassadors from the current honours classes. We will be looking for members who show a desire to broaden their horizons, and are highly motivated!
In return, we can offer you the exciting experience of working for the youngest, most exclusive student association at Erasmus University Rotterdam. You can expect to challenge, but also be challenged, and grow with us as we discover new ways to make the association more relevant and exciting over the next year!
However, as with every important role, our positions will require your dedication, time and passion. All Internal Management can expect approximately 6 to 8 hours per week, while Ambassadors will contribute 2 to 4 hours. Naturally, hours will fluctuate over time depending on the circumstances, given our status as a relatively newer organisation. Lastly, all Internal Managers will, at the end of their contribution, receive a Letter of Recommendation from the Association President, and exemplary members will be highly considered for future Board Positions.

Your HonEURs Board
A Marketing Manager is the creative center of any organization. Contributing inspiring branding ideas, this internal management position will report directly to the Secretary of the Board. Marketing Managers will have direct influence on our first points of contact with students, developing our overall Brand Strategy, Social Media Marketing and Content. Therefore, this position seeks creative students, who are not afraid to go beyond conventional wisdom to develop attractive, new advertising for Potential Members, Current Members, and Alumni.
The Events Manager creates experiences. From social to professional events, the Events Manager will report to the Secretary of the Board, but also works in close cooperation with External Relations. This job requires a passion for bringing people and ideas together in a physical setting to create the optimal event experience. Applicants should expect a fast-paced environment, and should have a passion for managing projects, and a strong attention to detail. In short, the Events Manager is a "doer", who provides the practical side of our operations.
Our Association is always expanding looking or new academic and corporate partners,! However, for our ideas to become reality, we need academic and industry connections. Thus, This Manager is persuasive, persistent, and collaboration-oriented, and is responsible for assisting in both the acquisition of long-term partnerships and event-based arrangements. Reporting to the Commissioner of External Affairs, the Partnership Manager will be involved in every step of the acquisition process from outreach to negotiation, and cooperation renewal, making this Internal Management role integral to future activities.
Become the Brand Ambassador of your Honours Programme!
Since we, as an Association, represent students, one of our most integral roles includes making sure we have constant contact with our students. The Honours Ambassador is this social link between the Association and the honours classes. Ideally, candidates should be enthusiastic and extroverted members of their honours classes, who are not afraid to provide critical feedback to the Board and actively contribute new suggestions to the association. The Ambassadors connect the students with the events that matter most to them, and report personally to the President of the Association.
